Prague Day 1

Hey, everyone! On wednesday we got back from an entire week in Prague, and it was wonderful! In addition to seeing the city we went to the Prague Gothic Treffen and to Kutná Hora, a city about an hour away by train, that houses the famous bone church, and other beautiful churches! And of course I'll share it all with you! We'll see how many posts I'll have to make to cover the trip. I'm not gonna post every single photo, as we took A LOT (over 600, but I narrowed it down to about 350). I'll probably post all of them on my personal facebook later (I'm glad we have better internet now!). So without further ado, let's get into what we saw on our first day in Prague!

First stop; Strahov Monastery. But as the bookworm I am, I was mostly interested in the library:

Have you ever seen something that amazing?!
I was just in complete awe.

Next stop; Loreta. It looks amazing on the outside already!
Just wait 'till you see the inside.

I struggled not to swear in such a place, it was breathtaking.
I won't post more here, but I'll post all photos on my fb later.

Then; Prague castle! I could see it from the plane, I was so excited.

And the most amazing thing there: The St. Vitus Cathedral.

After all that, we were a little tired and warm.
It was about 30 C there! So I cooled off with this:
Amorino has the most beautiful ice creams!
Simen got a strawberry milkshake.
They both tasted really great and natural!

Then we went to the Ghosts & Legends Museum.

And their sister museum, the Alchemy Museum!

They also had a bar, so we had to get some drinks.
You can't see it, but there's dry ice in the drinks, so they ''smoked''!

After that we had dinner at a medieval restaurant.
It has been open since 1375! True medieval atmosphere.
Good food and entertainment, and this is how we got the bill! ^

Then we figured; why not walk across the Charles Bridge?
There were much less people then than during the day.

On the other side of the bridge; I have some cooler photos of this later!

Then we walked to the Old Town Square.
For those unfamiliar, this is the Týn Church.

Old Town Hall.
The Astronomical Clock was sadly not there.
It's being repaired, so there was scaffolding around it.

St. Nicholas Church (there is also another one across the Charles Bridge)

Bought these before we went back to our Airbnb!
Had to try some czech stuff while we were there.

So those were the highlights of our first day in Prague! I actually have 160 photos from that day, but there's no way I could show you all of them. I'll probably post more on Instagram, and eventually I'll post all the photos on Facebook. Hope you enjoyed that! Come back tomorrow to see what we did on our second day!

I'm 24!

Hi! It's been a while, but to be honest, nothing special has really happened lately. But it was my birthday, so I guess I can post about that! I turned 24 on wednesday. Tuesday I had Sandra over. On the day itself I ran some errands and walked about in the city centre.

Birthday outfit
Typical spooky silly me.

Cheap birthday gifts for myself! Bat headband on sale at H&M, thrifted skirt / dress and Cradle Of Filth Cruelty And The Beast limited edition celtic cross - sadly in poor condition. But cool!
My family picked me up at the hospital after I had my dose of now thrice weekly light treatment. We ordered pizza, and after that ate an amazing cake my sister had made! Look at this!

So moist.

Oh cake, you so funny.

Bat's nest hair LOL
Yesterday I decided to go out for once! Standard when it's your birthday, I guess. Emma came over and we caught up with each other before we went to Hulen (The Cave). A funny thing happened when we walked in; we saw a guy with a massive mohawk, and he saw me, so he came over and we complimented each other's hair! Nice to see I wasn't the only weird-looking person, haha.
The rest of the night was alright - mostly sat on stage with the DJ and a bunch of people. Went home with the last bus at 2:30, so nothing too crazy. So I guess that was the extent of my birthday week!

Sorry this was such a short update after I've been quiet so long. I haven't really had any ideas for what to blog about. I was thinking maybe some album reviews, but I haven't been able to decide what, haha. I have also considered to blog about what we want to do when we're in Prague / The Czech Republic later this month, but I guess it would be more entertaining to just show you once we're home. If there's anything you want to see, just hit me up anywhere! Until next time, take care!
