The Addams Family 2019 Trailer

Just saw this! I knew this was coming, and it's finally coming on october 11 this year (in the US, at least). I have to say I'm a little skeptic. Now, I DID grow up with the 90's movies, but as an adult I haven't even watched them, I prefer the 60's TV series. This movie seems to be based on the original comic though, but it still looks a little weird translated into a ''3D'' movie. I will definitely watch it, though! So what do you think? What are your expectations for this movie?

In other movie / TV news, What We Do In The Shadows the series has just started airing. I haven't watched it myself yet, but it looks promising! They seem to be re-using some of the gags from the movie, probably because they're aiming for a larger audience with the series. There's also Wellington Paranormal, which also is a TV spinoff. I haven't seen or heard much about it, but I also want to check that out. But we'll see when they will be available to stream for me here in Norway. Even the movie isn't, so I have to go buy a DVD of it! If you've seen the shows so far, let me know what you think in the comments!

  1. This new film doesn't have very much appeal to me. I prefer real actors and actresses. Also, it appears to me that this film attempts to capitalize on old tricks that were fun in the beginning, but have been overused to the point where they're no longer funny.

We have a saying here in the states that "sometimes it's better to let dead dogs lie." That' the way I feel about this new Addams Family film.

    1. I'm a little surprised at who they chose to voice them, they don't really seem very good to me. And yeah, definitely! The other movies aren't even that old yet, but I guess it's super trendy to remake stuff nowadays. I will probably watch it at the cinema, and maybe I'll review it on here!

  2. I love the new What We Do in the Shadows so far. It has a lot of similarities as the film but also has some key differences. Each character is well fleshed out and you can't help but love them.
