So that is the end of my WGT adventure this year. I had so much fun, and I hope you enjoyed reading about all the things we did! If you are considering to go next year or any other year, check out my big guide to the festival - and of course look for me while you're there! I will definitely continue to attend for years to as come, as long as things don't get in the way! I have been able to go for 5 years in a row already. The only thing about next year is that it starts on may 18th, the day after Norway's national day, and I will probably have my grandmother's national costume fitted to me by then, so we'll see how early we fly down. We might be able to do it on the evening on the 17th and just miss the opening party - I can live with that. We'll see!
Post-WGT-hibernation kicked in pretty early. I think the day after it all I was taking naps throughout the day, same all the way home. When we got home I slept for 16 hours!
Post-WGT-blues kicked in a few days later. It was like ''WHAT DO I DO WITH MY LIFE NOW?!'' - I feel much better now, now I'm just restless and want to travel. There are so many places we want to go, cause I know people from all over the world, but we'll see if there will be another trip this year.
We're moving on september 1, so we thought we'd postpone the Prague trip we planned for now.
But summer hasn't even begun! Since WGT is so early, I feel it's my summer vacation - which it is, sometimes. We're seeing Ministry on tuesday and Simen's family is having a huge reuinion next month, so that will be great fun - And there's also a black metal festival I'm going to sometime in august. This fall I'm at least gonna see Satyricon again, we'll see what else I can catch.
Anyway, so things will get ''back to normal'' here on the blog now. Back to my boring old life! If you have anything you would like to see, please let me know! If you like, I could review all of the cd's and book I bought during WGT. I now also have time to start my DIY projects! I'm still hesitant though, I still want to collect even more patches, but I don't know if I can even fit more on my tiny little jackets. I will definitely show you those when I get around to doing them! Talk to you later.
